Is it possible to take the LED device apart, so that the plastic can be recycled separately from the internal battery?

To dispose of LED Bite in the correct manner, you first need to take the batteries out of the device. The latter should be disposed of in a proper WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) recycling bin, while the batteries should be discarded in the appropriate container. The LED element in the cap cannot be separated from the device, so it will have to be disposed of as a whole, using the proper WEEE recycling bin. It is important to stress that these devices should never be disposed of in general household waste, and the law imposes specific penalties on anyone not complying with these provisions.
